In a bid to change how we may see children with Down Syndrome, Albanian photographer Soela Zani teamed up with Down Syndrome Albania and director Emanuela Zaimi to create beautiful portraits of children with Down Syndrome, inspired by famous paintings.

In doing so, Zani shows us that “every human being is a work of art, so we have to learn to see them in a beautiful way. These children are beautiful, and they are able to do everything if we give them the chance.”
